The company «RT-Project Technologies» (part of Rostec) presented the identification and authentication system «Foundation» at the conference «Digital Industry of Industrial Russia» (CIPR-2024). This was reported by the corporation's press service.
An enhanced qualified electronic signature (UQES) is a digital analogue of a citizen's handwritten signature. With its help, it is possible to remotely conclude civil law contracts and implement labor relations.
The press service of Rostec explained that the «Foundation» system will enable Russians living in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Uzbekistan to confirm their account on «Gosuslugi» and obtain a UQES.
The pilot project will be carried out from July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025. As part of it, points for issuing qualified certificates of electronic signature verification keys for Russians will appear on the territory of these countries. They will be organized on the basis of diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation and representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo.
Earlier www1.ru reported that from September send registered letters and parcels through «Russian Post» will only be possible with the connected «Simple Electronic Signature».
