Large-node assembly of agricultural drones will be established in Primorsky Krai. An agreement has already been concluded with the drone manufacturer, the regional government's press service reported.
The press service explained that the production of UAVs for agricultural needs will be established on the territory of the 322nd Aviation Repair Plant (city of Ussuriysk). Operators and potential consumers of UAS services are located here.
The production cycle will provide certified service for maintenance, configuration, and training in the operation of the agricultural drone. The drone will be able to identify places in the field for targeted fertilizer application, as well as control weeds and insects.
Where UAVs are used in Primorsky Krai:
- monitoring of forest resources
- monitoring of roads and road infrastructure
- assessment of damage from fires and emergencies
- search and rescue of people
UAS manufacturers in Primorye receive support from the authorities. The regional government subsidizes up to 50% of the costs of producing a pilot batch of UAVs, and also compensates for R&D costs and interest rates on investment loans.
