AvtoVAZ has eliminated a design flaw in the ball joints of the Lada Largus car. Now, the joint can be replaced separately from the lever, and its lifespan has been increased to 100,000 kilometers. Previously, the joints would fail after approximately 40,000 kilometers.
In 2024 cars, a removable assembly with a locking ring and pin is used in the design. It is compatible with the Vesta ball joint. Now, the ball joint does not need to be replaced together with the lever, as it was before.
Auto experts note the high reliability of the Largus suspension. Stabilizer struts and bushings last up to 100,000 kilometers, and suspension overhaul is required around 150,000 kilometers.
As a reminder, AvtoVAZ restarted mass production of Largus in Izhevsk. The cars should appear at dealers in the coming weeks. The starting price for the passenger version starts from 1,660,000 rubles, and the commercial van is 10,000 cheaper.
