Workshop for the production of UAV components launched in the Sverdlovsk region

The company "Airburg" launched a separate workshop in Yekaterinburg for the manufacture of parts and assemblies of drones, cable and harness products. The Ministry of Industry and Trade allocated more than 380 million rubles for this production, 70 jobs were created here, the government of the Sverdlovsk region reported.

The workshop is located on an area of 3 thousand square meters. In total, "Airburg" employs 670 people. The regional authorities expect that UAVs for the needs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, disaster medicine and the Ministry of Natural Resources will be assembled from the components produced here.

Sergey Evdokimov, General Director of "Airburg", believes that the company has great prospects.

Our drones have already transported medicines in the region, scouted fires in the Solnechny microdistrict, and helped communications workers.

According to the BAS development program, the production of BAS in the Sverdlovsk region in 2024 will reach 2.6 thousand units. By 2030, this figure will reach 9.6 thousand units.
