The official representative of KamAZ in the Russian market, Avtozapchast KamAZ, has announced the launch of a recall campaign for 23,432 trucks. They were sold from July 1, 2022, to August 1, 2023.
The reason is not related to a technical malfunction. The trucks are to be retrofitted with a module for calling emergency services. The work will be carried out free of charge for the owners.
It is worth noting that KamAZ owners most often complain about problems with the flagship K5 trucks. The number of defects in this model has increased by 34.9% compared to last year. Unstable quality of components is cited as one of the reasons.
