A new tire recycling plant will start operating in the Moscow region. Production will be launched on the territory of the former Michelin enterprise.
Davydovo, the company that owns the site, has launched several workshops. They recycle and restore tires. The plan is to build a full-cycle plant. It will cost 244 million rubles, of which 150 million will be allocated by the Regional Industrial Development Fund as a soft loan.
The capacity of the new enterprise will be 15,000 tons of rubber crumb per year. It is used in the improvement of territories, as a material for children's and sports grounds. Noise protection panels are also made from rubber crumb.
