The Kaluga Gislaved plant has started producing tires under the new Torero brand. The former Continental AG plant, which was acquired by the Russian holding company S8 Capital, will provide summer tires for SUVs and crossovers.
So far, Torero has only three models:
- MP47 — road tires;
- MP82 — Highway Terrain tires for asphalt roads and light off-road;
- MP72 — All Terrain tires for dirt roads, gravel roads and light off-road.
Auto experts note that Torero tires repeat the design and tread pattern of Matador tires previously produced at the plant.
