In early May, the "Personnel for Unmanned Aircraft Systems" project will start in the regions of Russia, within which 2,500 teachers from 523 schools and 30 colleges will be taught how to operate copters and fixed-wing drones, as well as disassemble and assemble drones. Before practical exercises, teachers will listen to online courses. The training program is designed for 268 academic hours. After training, teachers will be able to train specialists in the development and operation of drones.
Vice Prime Minister Andrei Belousov stated that as part of the project, special classes, as well as flight zones and repair stations, and zones for 3D printing will appear in schools and colleges. A total of 17,000 drones will be purchased for educational institutions.
It should be noted that drone control courses have become very popular in Russian regions. It can be assumed that this is happening against the background of the introduction of the project in schools, within which teenagers will be taught how to interact with UAVs. Adults, apparently, do not want to lag behind teenagers. For example, in Kemerovo, there are no places left in the drone operator courses, a www1.ru source said.
A drone operator will become one of the professions of the future, our correspondent was convinced at the MADE BY US exhibition at VDNH.
In addition, unmanned transport courses have opened in the capital. It was launched by the "Moscow Technical School" and the "Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation." Muscovites will be taught how to develop, produce and operate drones, create flight programs for UAVs. The courses will also train instructors in unmanned aircraft systems. After training, certificates of advanced training from the "Financial University under the Government" will be issued.
