Moscow authorities are continuing the production support program. Since the beginning of 2024, the capital's manufacturing enterprises have increased production by 17.9%. This was reported by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
The leaders are enterprises in high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries that produce:
- computers
- electronics and microelectronics
- pharmaceutical preparations
- machines
- equipment
The output of food and essential goods has also increased.
The increase in productivity is associated with the development and implementation of new technologies, including artificial intelligence.
Among other factors, Sobyanin mentioned investments and support from the authorities. In particular, the "Mosprom" center helps companies enter the markets of Latin American, African, and Asian countries. From January to March, more than 50 Moscow enterprises used export support.
Earlier it was reported that Moscow manufacturers in 2023 supplied products of the manufacturing industry for 10.6 trillion rubles.
