The Central Scientific-Research Institute for Precision Machine Engineering (TsNIITOCHMASH) has delivered SR1MP "Gurza" pistols and SR2M "Veresk" submachine guns to the customer under a state contract. This was reported by the press service of the Russian arms manufacturer "Kalashnikov".
Features of SR1MP "Gurza":
- 9x21 mm caliber cartridges (with armor-piercing, tracer, and expanding bullets)
- High shooting accuracy at distances up to 100 m
- Engagement of targets in bulletproof vests up to the second protection class
- Immobilization of vehicles and unarmored equipment
The new "Gurza" pistol is a modernized version of the SR1, created in 1995.
Features of CP2М "Veresk":
- Mobile and compact
- High rate of fire
- Wide range of 9×21 mm caliber cartridges
- Penetrates second-class bulletproof vests
- Engages targets at a distance of up to 200 m
CP2М "Veresk" is a modernized version of the SR2, developed in 2000. It solves all fire missions.
SR1MP and CP2M have no analogues among high-precision small arms in the world
TsNIITOCHMASH is the only developer and manufacturer of such weapons. The gunsmiths of the research institute improve small arms at the request of the Russian security forces.
