Exercises were held in the Baltic Sea with the participation of crews of high-speed landing boats, during which the transfer of military equipment and personnel to the coast in the Kaliningrad region was practiced.
The press service of the Baltic Fleet said that the "Michman Lermontov", "Lieutenant Rimsky-Korsakov" and "D-67" boats were involved in the maneuvers. The crews loaded equipment from the shore and then transferred it to the fleet training ground.
The crews performed tactical maneuvering elements under the threat of the use of weapons by a mock enemy. In addition, the sailors fired at surface and air targets from large-caliber KPVT machine guns. The situation was close to combat: the boats were traveling at a speed of about 60 km/h.
