Whoosh has announced a new feature for electric scooter enthusiasts. Now you can rent a means of transportation in one touch, without using the application and scanning the QR code.
The new wKey feature is a start in two seconds. To activate the personal mobility device (PMD), the user must hold both brakes. The innovation will be available in April for users connected to the Whoosh loyalty program at the Go and Win levels (more than 20 trips per month).
It is expected that wKey will reduce the number of unnecessary manipulations when renting a scooter, synchronizing with the PMD instantly. The function can be disabled in the application menu.
Using wKey does not affect the rental price. You can end the trip in the usual way, using the "finish" button in the application.
According to Egor Bayandin, technical director of the company, most users of the service rent a scooter for mobility in the city. This allows you to use convenient routes on the way to your destination.
