Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) has resumed production of the BELARUS TL-120 tractor for forestry purposes. This is a two-axle machine with a 4x4 wheel arrangement.
MTZ produced this tractor in the nineties under the name SHA-406. It was used for road and utility works. The company's management had been preparing to revive this project for a long time, but they were spurred on by a request from the Belarusian company "POZHSNAB".
It turned out that the SHA-406 is excellent for extinguishing forest fires. In the BELARUS TL-120, the SHA-406 retained the front universal plate according to the DIN 76060 standard, the rear linkage according to the tractor type, and the hydraulic system.

- the tractor has rollover protection, protection against falling objects
- all-wheel drive
- D-245.2S2 diesel engine with a power of 122 hp
- maximum weight — 10.2 tons
The TL-120 can be equipped with a snowplow blade or a plow. This tractor model can be equipped with a water tank or a platform.
Earlier, MTZ modernized MTZ-80 and MTZ-82 tractors. New versions of these machines will begin to be produced before the end of 2024.
