Russian hotels will receive digital passports, thanks to which tourists will receive reliable information about accommodation, infrastructure and will be able to leave their comments. This was announced by the head of Rosaccreditation, Nazariy Skrypnik, in the lower house of parliament.
People sometimes travel from Vladivostok to Crimea and think there will be a swimming pool in the hotel, but when they arrive, there isn't one
According to the head of Rosaccreditation, there should be a standard for three- and four-star hotels. Such digital passports will indicate what a tourist will get for their money.
What information will be included in the digital passport:
- hotel category
- type of hotel
- number of rooms
- services
- digital copies of documents
- legal data
- contacts
- website
The passport also plans to include information about the infrastructure for people with disabilities, a set of additional services. In addition, tourists will be able to participate in surveys about the hotel.
