Обезвредит даже «Лепестки» — «Ростех» показал модернизированную МГР-4 «Шмель»

The unmanned sapper has become more efficient and accurate

Rostec, through its subsidiary "High-Precision Systems," has demonstrated how the MGR-4 "Bumblebee" robot sapper has changed. After modernization, the humanitarian demining machine has become more efficient and faster.

It is noted that the "Bumblebee" has new characteristics. These are:

  • a new modernized anti-mine trawl. The configuration of the trawl body has changed from inclined to horizontal, and the support rollers have been moved to the front of the body. The trawl of the MGR-4 "Bumblebee" is now more compact and lighter by 250 kg, and now the machine can be delivered to where demining needs to be carried out in a standard tarpaulin truck;
  • an increased number of working strikers and a reduced distance between them. Thus, the soil is penetrated more evenly by the robot sapper, and the accuracy of its work on mines and other explosive objects is higher. It will not miss even small and very dangerous "Petal" mines;
  • unification with the ANT mini-loader, which is mass-produced at JSC "KEMZ" – this can speed up the assembly process of "Bumblebees" and make the model more accessible to consumers.

The modernized MGR-4 "Bumblebee" was brought to the "Expotechnostrazh" exhibition under the auspices of the government of St. Petersburg and the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops.

The product has attracted many interested parties, and according to "High-Precision Systems", there are already signed contracts.
