The Dnipro River Flotilla will include A-222 "Bereh" self-propelled artillery systems (ACS). It will also include units of the Marine Corps and special forces. This was reported by an informed source in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to military expert Vasily Dandykin, the Dnipro River Flotilla has a long history. It began during the Great Patriotic War.
He suggested that the flotilla would include river minesweepers, armored boats, artillery boats, and landing boats.
Dandykin emphasized that there are no installations like the A-222 "Bereh" in the West. They are highly maneuverable and can cover Marine Corps.
Another military expert, Dmitry Boltenkov, noted that the "Bereh" has a heavy projectile. It will easily destroy enemy boats.
The artillery will mainly work on various kinds of enemy water targets and support our troops
