The Moscow authorities are actively developing the city's transport system. This year, modern "Moscow-2024" trains will enter the metro lines. And in 2026-2030, it is planned to develop a modification of trains with unmanned control, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
The Mayor of Moscow emphasized that the capital will have the most innovative rolling stock in the world. By 2030, it will have autonomous running, elements of unmanned control, and climate control. The trains will also become more spacious.
By the specified date, the rolling stock of Moscow's public transport will be updated by almost 100%. Sobyanin clarified that in 2024, "Ivolga 4.0" electric trains will appear on the MCD. Its cabin has comfortable seats for passengers, charging devices and other useful services.
Earlier, the Moscow authorities reported that this year, "Moscow-2020" trains will appear on the MCC and BCL and other lines.
