Volkswagen gets rid of two subsidiaries in Russia

Novosibirsk company "CC" bought two Russian assets of Volkswagen

The German automobile concern Volkswagen has sold two more subsidiaries in Russia - Volkswagen Group Finance and FVFU RUS LLC. The buyer of the assets was the Novosibirsk banking group CC JSC, which is associated with the structures of entrepreneur Igor Kim.

The transactions on the transfer of ownership were registered at the end of January. Previously, Volkswagen Group Finance provided leasing services and was engaged in car lending. In March 2023, CC JSC bought the leasing company Expomobility, which was owned by the French conglomerate Societe Generale Group.

Earlier, the Governor of the Kaluga Region, Vladislav Shapsha, announced that the former Volkswagen plant would launch production in the first half of 2024. Before the company left Russia, it produced Polo, Tiguan and Skoda Rapid here
