The Russian military may soon have new bunkers-shelters, as well as bunkers-shelters for a section and for a platoon. Representatives of the Dorgeotekh company received licenses from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia for the development and production of fortifications, and completed work on them.
The size of the shelters ranges from 2.5 to 6 meters, and the weight ranges from 1.4 to 2.5 tons. Inside there is a natural ventilation system, shelves and hooks for storing personal belongings of military personnel, and other elements to ensure convenience. They are supplemented taking into account the wishes of representatives of the customer. In addition, the bunkers have their own hook for attaching to Ural and KamAZ trucks.
According to data announced by the TASS news agency by Alexey Devyatilov, director of the shelter development company, state tests of the new shelters are planned in the near future together with the customer, represented by the Ministry of Defense and the military representative office of the Armed Forces. During the tests, the shelters will be buried in the ground, and various shells will be detonated to assess the impact of high-explosive fragmentation effects on them.
