Specialists from "Schwabe" holding, a subsidiary of the Rostec State Corporation, have modified the Lada Niva Kub passenger minivan for medical workers.
Lada Niva Kub has been transformed into a basic ambulance of class "A". This means that it can be used for on-call visits in uncomplicated cases, as well as for transporting patients and providing them with medical care with a basic set of medical equipment.
Inside the cabin, places have been prepared for transporting one patient in a lying position and three accompanying medical workers.
According to Rostec, the car has high cross-country ability, so it is suitable for working in rural areas.
The original eight-seater Lada Niva Kub is assembled on the basis of the Lada Niva passenger car. It has high side swing doors and a rear double swing door.
The car has a 4x4 wheel formula with a downshift and a locking center differential. Inside - a VAZ 21214 engine of 1.7 liters, its power is increased to 106 hp. The transmission is mechanical, with manual control.
On the rear axle there are pneumatic cylinders with adjustable pressure from the driver's cab and a leaf spring suspension, which helps the car become more durable and passable.
