Reshetnev company reported that they are working on a new technology that will speed up the process of creating space technology and reduce its cost. It is about the unification of elements for deploying large-sized antennas and solar panels.
The new technology will allow antennas and solar panels to be deployed in accordance with a given algorithm – in synchronous, sequential or mixed modes – without changing the design of the products. The order of movement of mechanical systems will be ensured by software tools.
Earlier, Reshetnev specialists showed their new unified platform for spacecraft weighing up to 1000 kg. In one launch, the platform will be able to put up to four satellites into low circular orbits.
