The Ministry of Defense reported on how the "Linza" protected medical vehicle was improved in 2023.
This vehicle with bulletproof and mine protection is engaged in the search, collection, and evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield and from the sites of man-made disasters. If necessary, the wounded are provided with emergency first aid in the vehicle during transportation.
It is noted that the "Linza" underwent a chassis change. The previous version of the ZSA-T "Linza", which was on the balance sheet of the Ministry of Defense, had a chassis from the basic Typhoon-K K-53949 armored car and an independent spring suspension, the new version - ZSA-UK "Linza" - is based on a KamAZ chassis.
The protection parameters of the new version have also been strengthened according to the STANAG 4569 gradation to the fourth class. The ZSA-UK "Linza" is ready for shelling from large-caliber machine guns and rifles from 200 meters of 14.5 x 114 mm caliber and detonation near grenades and mines in the equivalent of 10 kg of explosives. At the same time, the cost of one car after modernization has become 1.4 times lower.
Other changes in the car are unknown, and it can be assumed that the ZSA-UK "Linza", like the ZSA-T "Linza", has a KAMAZ-610.10-350 engine with 350 hp and can accelerate up to 105 kilometers per hour if necessary.
Inside the ZSA-T "Linza", three crew members worked, who could take out three lying wounded or six sitting wounded, and most likely, the capacity parameter was also preserved. Most likely, the skills of overcoming obstacles have also been preserved: this is a ditch of at least half a meter, a wall - at least 0.6 meters and 1.5 meters of ford without preparation.
Along with the ZSA-UK "Linza", the Ministry of Defense also had AP-3 dressing stations on its balance sheet. In general, according to the defense department, twenty models of medical equipment and property were developed and adopted for supply in 2023.
