Parts Made of Polymers Being Developed for Russian Satellites "Express-AMU4", "Gonets" and "SKIF"

Elements for the "Marathon" Spacecraft Were Manufactured in Reshetnev's Additive Laboratory

Reshetnev, part of the Roscosmos state corporation, has opened a new division whose employees use polymer printing technologies in the additive laboratory.

The first equipment to enter the laboratory was a complex for selective laser melting of metal powders. It now operates around the clock.

The device manufactured elements for the "Marathon" spacecraft. Specialists are also developing components for the "Express-AMU4", "Express-RV", "Gonets", "SKIF" satellites.

Additive technologies help Reshetnev solve non-standard production tasks. The division works not only with metal, but also prints polymer models and prototypes for the space industry.

The "Skif-D" satellite developed by Reshetnev has been in Earth orbit since 2022. In early December, it transmitted the first data to the control center.
