In Russia, in 2024, the production of new 4G and 5G base stations from the base station developer "Irteya", which belongs to the MTS telecom operator, will be launched.
The first release of base stations at the Tomsk "Mikran" facilities this year will be only a thousand units. Later, up to 5-10 thousand units will be produced per year. The cost of one such base station produced in Russia, according to preliminary data, will be 1.5-2 million rubles.
In addition to market demand, as representatives of the company noted in a conversation with Kommersant, they will also monitor changes in the requirements for a domestic manufacturer for the localization of components.
Currently, Irteya's products, according to various estimates, have more than 90% of foreign components, and the company plans to increase the level of equipment localization in Russia.
