Rostec has finalized the smart remote mining system "Agriculture". It mines an area of several football fields at once. It differs from its analogues in that it can remotely deactivate its shells after the cessation of hostilities in the mined area.
Over the past few months, "Agriculture" has increased its potential: a unified transport and launch container has been added. The system now mines a given area with 140 mm caliber rockets and hits targets with 220 mm caliber rockets. It will be able to work with rockets from flamethrower "Tosochek" and MLRS "Uragan" or flamethrower systems TOS-1, TOS-1A and TOS-2.O
The new bicaliber installation called "Vozrozhdenie" will be launched into serial production in the first half of 2024.
This is the first similar machine for mining and missile attack in the Russian defense industry. However, it is not the first idea of bicaliber as an update after modernization. Recently, the Russian Ministry of Defense received modernized bicaliber MLRS "Uragan-1M". Now they can fire 220 mm and 300 mm caliber rockets. At the same time, the two transport and launch containers operate independently of each other, and the entire package is replaced during reloading.
