Russian combat robot "Koalitsiya-SV" has already entered the military - media

The latest self-propelled gun "Koalitsiya-SV" from the Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" has been delivered to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Koalitsiya-SV", which was called "the best howitzer in the world" at the stage of autumn state tests due to its speed, efficiency and range, has already been launched into mass production.

This was reported by IA "TASS", referring to its source close to the defense department. There is no official confirmation of the supply of "Koalitsiya-SV" to the troops and their use in combat or exercises yet.

"Koalitsiya-SV" on the platform from the T-90 tank easily destroys artillery and mortar batteries, air defense and anti-missile defense systems, command posts and field fortifications, armored vehicles and enemy manpower.

It is equipped with a modern 2A88 152 mm caliber gun and hits targets at a distance of up to 70-80 km. It is known that a special ammunition has been developed for the self-propelled gun, with the help of which such a high firing range is achieved.

The rate of fire is also remarkable: "Koalitsiya-SV" produces from 10 to 20 rounds per minute. At the same time, the howitzer itself chooses the type of projectile, the installation of the fuse and the aiming of the gun. She also reacts to "any unscheduled targets".

Only three people are needed to control the howitzer, who sit in a separate armored capsule. Unlike other models, its processes are significantly automated, which is why it received the nickname "Rostec Combat Robot."

All these indicators made "Koalitsiya-SV" a weapon capable of bypassing similar models of NATO countries and gaining leadership in its category in the world on the arms market.
