The Russian Kalashnikov concern completed all deliveries of Kub loitering munitions (kamikaze drone) stipulated by state contracts in 2023. According to the company's press service, the drone was used in combat operations.
It is specified that in order to expand the production line, in cooperation with the customer, the Russian Ministry of Defense, the concern began supplying "increased power" ammunition. In this case, we are talking about improved characteristics of destruction of enemy equipment and manpower.
The concern's capabilities in the UAV segment are being actively increased: production is being expanded, modern equipment is being purchased, and work processes are being optimized.
According to him, the company has mastered the serial production of the Kub munition, and also increased production volumes by more than 2 times.
Earlier it was reported that Kalashnikov had increased the warhead of the loitering munition. Now the Kub can carry more explosives.
