Sber has announced the relocation of about half of its smart TV production to the Novgorod Region. By the end of 2024, they intend to open and launch a plant in the "Novgorodskaya" special economic zone, which will employ more than two hundred highly qualified specialists.
The project is being implemented jointly with the partner company SberDevices, and it has already been presented to the supervisory board of the special economic zone.
There will be room for not only people in the production. Most of the key technological operations are planned to be automated. As the company explains, this will "reduce the cost of production".
At the same time, Sber assured that all 100% of the televisions produced at the new plant will undergo strict quality control.
