The Russian arms concern "Kalashnikov" has signed a contract for the supply of special "Wall" vehicles for law enforcement agencies. It is expected that the customer will receive the transport in batches between 2024 and 2025, the company's press service reported.
Kalashnikov engineers developed the "Wall" for units of the Russian National Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The car is needed to block the movement of vehicles of offenders and protect law enforcement officers during mass riots.
The "Wall" is a protective complex consisting of a fence, a fire extinguishing system, video surveillance and recording, as well as sound and light effects. All equipment is located on the basic chassis.
A protected cabin is provided to ensure the driver's safety. It is noted that the barricade shields can be deployed in 5 minutes.
The Kalashnikov concern is a major supplier of weapons for Russian security forces. It was previously reported that in 2023 the company supplied the customer with more than 10 thousand units of Lebedev pistols.
