Six sets of mobile digital radio stations R-416GM and R-416GM2 for troop control have entered service with the Central Military District (CMD), the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
The R-416GM radio relay station is used to create a field backbone transport network that increases the efficiency of radio relay communications. We are talking about the transmission of information over secure communication channels using coding equipment.
It is noted that in November, the communication units of the Central Military District received more than 10 units of R-419L1M and R-419L digital radio relay stations. Servicemen in the Urals, the Volga region and Siberia have already begun to master the new equipment.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as part of the implementation of the state defense order, more than 700 units of military and special equipment were received in the military district in November.
