New Drones from SberAutoTech to Appear on High-Speed Highway Between Moscow and St. Petersburg

New cargo drones from SberAutoTech will appear on the M-11 Neva highway

The Ministry of Transport of Russia announced that new unmanned cargo vehicles from SberAutoTech will appear on the M-11 Neva high-speed highway (from Moscow to St. Petersburg) in 2024. The launch of 12 KamAZ drones is also planned.

In 2024, in addition to the planned 12 highly automated vehicles [highly automated vehicle - editor's note www1.ru] from KamAZ, drones from SberAutoTech are expected.

Currently, 9 vehicles (6 KamAZ and 3 SberAutoTech) carry out unmanned cargo transportation on the M-11 highway. The movement of drones was launched for the delivery of commercial cargo.

According to current rules, there is a test driver in the drone's cabin who monitors the safety of the trip.
