The Russian Tinkoff Bank has increased the list of countries to which you can send money by phone number, card or through the SWIFT international payment system. Such transfers are now available to more than 30 countries, including the CIS.
For example, in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, you can make a transfer using one of the above methods. You can send funds to Uzbekistan only through SWIFT. The service is useful for those who have moved abroad, but still receive income in Russia.
Transfers via SWIFT are possible to China, Serbia, Mexico and Qatar. The bank's service is useful for those who do business with residents of these countries.
In July 2023, the US authorities imposed blocking sanctions against Tinkoff Bank. It was noted that the introduction of restrictive measures would affect Russia's access to the global financial system. The bank is also under sanctions from the European Union and the United Kingdom. At the same time, Tinkoff Bank has not yet been disconnected from the SWIFT system.
Earlier it was reported that the Tinkoff Bank application under the new name "Business Words" appeared on the AppStore.
