Russian localized passenger aircraft SJ-100 (previous version - Sukhoi Superjet New, which had a Franco-Russian production engine installed - editor's note www1.ru) and MS-21 should satisfy the needs of the domestic market. Only then will the developers consider the possibility of sending civilian liners for export, said Vladimir Artyakov, Deputy Head of Rostec.

According to a representative of the state corporation, Russia is counting on interest in SJ-100 and MS-21 from foreign partners. In Rostec, they understand that the capacity of the domestic market is not infinite and in the future, it is necessary to enter foreign markets.

In addition, Artyakov noted, in terms of export, the Russian engine PD-14 has great prospects. The unit complies with international standards and is in the most massive niche, so high demand for it is possible, he concluded.

It was previously reported that the largest Belarusian airline company «Belavia» declared its readiness to purchase MC-21 and SSJ New for its fleet. The carrier expects that  the commercial operation of the vessels will start in 2024.

"...ёмкость отечественного рынка не безгранична..." По сообщениям СМИ сейчас в РФ эксплуатируется 3 - 4 тыс. Боингов и Аэрбасов, при этом выпуск МС -21 и 100SJ планируется 30 - 70 единиц в год. Значит для полной импортзамещения понадобится не один десяток лет
