The premium Wey V71 crossover, owned by the Great Wall concern, has received vehicle type approval (OTTS) in Russia. The car is positioned one step higher than Haval.
It is known that the Wey V71 is the largest crossover in the lineup. The car has dimensions: 4875 x 1960 x 1690 mm with a wheelbase of 2915 mm and independent suspension.
Drivers are promised comfortable driving due to technological safety systems. Under the hood of the Wey V71 is a "mild" hybrid - a two-liter turbo engine producing 213 "horses". Car enthusiasts can also choose a gasoline two-liter engine with a capacity of 203 hp. A full-fledged hybrid with a total power plant output of 295 "horses" is available.
As already mentioned, the Wey V71 is a premium car, so its interior is made of leather. The car has a panoramic roof, as well as an AR projection screen (Augmented reality - note from www1.ru editors).
It is expected that Russians will be able to purchase the Wey V71 at the beginning of next year. This was stated in the Haval office, calling the crossover differently - Wey 05.
Earlier it was reported that a Great Wall engine will be installed on the Russian Visuva rally car. The car is being developed by Krasnoyarsk engineers from the company of the same name.
