The supercomplex of electronic warfare RB-109A “Bylina” seems to have joined the Russian military, there are no analogues to the volume of the electronic warfare shield it creates.
The fact that “Bylina” is used in combat actions is mentioned both by French spies and Russian journalists who refer to sources in the Russian Ministry of Defense. There is no official confirmation of its use on the front line yet.

The Ministry of Defense first announced a new complex during a joint strategic exercise with Belarus “West-2017”.
The efficiency of electronic warfare tools operation under the control of “Bylina” increases multiply, taking into account the compatibility with own communication systems and radar reconnaissance.

Characteristics of “Bylina”
The electronic warfare complex RB-109A “Bylina” is mounted on five high-helpfulness and maneuverable trucks. They arrive at the site, deploy and automatically establish communication with the superior headquarters, control points of battalions, companies and dozens of electronic warfare complexes.
“Bylina” is controlled by artificial intelligence. The system analyses the situation in the combat area, finds and classifies targets, chooses the method of their suppression and gives orders to the electronic warfare stations that are part of its system.
There can be dozens of electronic warfare stations in the network. Simultaneously, “Bylina” can oversee the operation of various systems: “Leer-2”, “Leer-3”, R-330 “Resident”, “Tirada-2”, “Lorandit”, “Diabazole”, “Palantin”.
The military development easily recognizes radios of any type of power, radars and communication systems, long-range radar detection aircraft, ships, boats, and even enemy satellites. And it is capable of suppressing them.
