Tests of the new "Lastochka" electric train of the ES104 series, assembled by "Ural Locomotives", are being completed at the experimental ring of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport in Moscow.
After all acceptance and certification tests are completed, the first 22 units of these high-speed electric trains will be delivered to Russian Railways.

This model has five cars with 416 seats. The cars are equipped with a microclimate and air disinfection system, and there are lifts for people with reduced mobility.
The seats have connectors for charging gadgets.
It is assumed that a line of new Russian electric trains will be created on the basis of ES104. They will be designed for both large cities and regions where there are not so many passengers.
