The Vympel 8100 composite boat joins the line of unmanned Russian vessels. The new domestic unmanned and remote navigation system "Taimen" has been installed on it.
The complex from the Vympel shipyard, which is part of the USC, is controlled from a tablet or monoblock. With the help of a neural network, it can detect and recognize air, underwater, and surface threats.
The "Taimen" independently reads the situation around it and transmits data to the operator, makes decisions on maneuvering and navigation.
This will help the boat to patrol and monitor the situation in places of man-made disasters, for example, during an oil spill, and to search for victims during disasters.
