The Chinese concern Chery has revealed the equipment of the Tiggo 8 Pro e+ for the Russian market. Before the start of sales, which is scheduled for November, the manufacturer spoke about the main characteristics of the restyled model. It is noted that the car will be called Tiggo 8 Pro Plug-in Hybrid.
The engineers improved its design and worked well on the interior. The smooth movement of the crossover is provided by a 235-horsepower hybrid power plant based on a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 147 hp, as well as two electric motors. The Tiggo 8 Pro Plug-in Hybrid will squeeze out a "hundred" in just 7.5 seconds.
Russian motorists can purchase the car in the Ultimate configuration. This includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a media system screen of the same size, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, all-round cameras, cruise control, and a DVR.
Chery calls the PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid) system the main advantage. It is claimed that this technology combines the advantages of electric vehicles with those available in cars with internal combustion engines (ICE).
The Tiggo 8 Pro has 3 driving modes: electricity only, gasoline only, and mixed mode. This allows you to comfortably drive the car both when driving around the city and on long trips, the company's press service summarized.
Earlier it was reported that Chery cars have become available for purchase on the Ozon marketplace.
