The «Sokol» Design Bureau near Moscow has developed the first domestic FPV goggles called «Filin-1».
According to the «TASS» news agency, unlike gaming and sports models, the goggles are designed to operate in a wide temperature range and in harsh conditions.
The new product is designed for the «Blokpost-4T» strike-reconnaissance drone.
An external antenna is used to communicate with the drone, so the operator will be able to work from a safe shelter or inside an armored vehicle. The first images of the new goggles were published by the Telegram channel «Bespilot».
It also recently became known that domestic developers are creating a new night vision system «Flint» for the military. Its image from the system is displayed on a screen or on goggles worn by the vehicle driver.
