Kaliningrad Autotor presented the concept of its new compact electric vehicle 'Amber'. This is reported by the Telegram channel 'Avtopotok'.
The development of the new electric vehicle was carried out in collaboration with Moscow Polytech. The model has a high degree of localization: the electric motor, reducer, car chassis, steering control, traction battery, power electronics, body and body systems will be assembled in Russia.
The first cars will come off the assembly line in the fourth quarter of next year. It is expected that up to 50 thousand will be produced per year.
Youth, social and urban services, delivery services, and car sharing are among the future Amber's customers.
