Kaliningrad's Avtotor has presented the concept of its new compact electric vehicle, "Amber". This was reported by the Telegram channel "Avtopotok".
The development of the new electric vehicle's design took place together with the Moscow Polytechnic University. The model has a high degree of localization: the electric motor, gearbox, car chassis, steering, traction battery, power electronics, body, and body systems will be of Russian assembly.
The first cars will roll off the assembly line in the fourth quarter of next year. They are expected to be produced up to 50,000 per year.
The company sees young people, social and city services, delivery and car-sharing services among the buyers of the future "Amber".
