The Russian manufacturer of anti-drone systems, NPO "Kaysant", has modernized the mobile electronic warfare (EW) station "Argus-Antifuria". Now the equipment will be able to not only suppress drones, but also determine their location (geolocate).
According to a company representative, "Argus-Antifuria" detects a drone and sends a signal to the operator for aiming. Previously, soldiers had to use two devices: EW equipment and a device for direction finding.
Therefore, the current modernization in terms of comprehensive drone direction finding has become very convenient
"Argus-Antifuria" is a trench version of EW. Its weight is 18 kg, and its operating range is 2 km. The system suppresses most drones, including aircraft-type devices. The product has been improved taking into account the experience of Russian soldiers. The updated station has been launched into mass production.
