Russia has begun using new electronic warfare systems in the Armed Forces designed to combat FPV drones. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the words of the commander of one of the tank platoons of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign "Owl".

The publication notes that the electronic warfare system is installed on the tank and does not allow the drone to fly closer than 10 meters to it. The drone loses communication with the satellite and its operator and simply hovers in the air, and then falls to the ground. The name of the electronic warfare system is not announced.

Obviously, the novelty is capable of strengthening the Russian tank building, the successes of which have already been recognized in the West recently. Recently, the popular military magazine "Army Recognition" analyzed how the Russian tank building industry is doing after the introduction of sanctions by the United States and Europe. In general, the experts of the publication came to the conclusion: Russia was able to perfectly "adapt and even prosper in the current circumstances" in this direction.
