Electric Bus with Overnight Charging Assembled in Ufa Presented in Moscow

UTTZ to Develop Hydrogen Technology in 2024

Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant (UTTZ) presented an electric bus with overnight charging at the ElectroTrans 2023 exhibition in Moscow, according to the company's CEO, Denis Rassadnikov.

In 2023, the Electrogorod engineering center was established at UTTZ, where developments in the field of electric transport are underway. The plant brought one of these developments to the capital.

The electric bus has a battery energy capacity of 438 kW, which allows the vehicle to travel up to 300 km on a single charge. According to Rassadnikov, the center's employees are also working on other promising projects.

The strategic partner of UTTZ is the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ). Together with the Belarusian enterprise, the Ufa plant produces more than 200 trolleybuses per year. The cooperation is aimed at finding import-substituting solutions against the backdrop of the departure of foreign component manufacturers from the Russian Federation.
