JSC "Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant" (UTTP) presented an electric bus with night charging at the "ElectroTrans 2023" exhibition in Moscow. This was announced by the general director of the enterprise, Denis Rassadnikov.
In 2023, on the basis of UTTP, the engineering center Electrogrod was organized, where developments in the field of electric transport are underway. The plant brought one of such developments to the capital.
The electric bus has a battery capacity of 438 kW, which allows the vehicle to travel up to 300 km on a single charge. According to Rassadnikov, the center's staff are working on other promising projects.

The strategic partner of UTTP is Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ). Together with the Belarusian enterprise, the Ufa plant manufactures more than 200 trolleybuses a year. The cooperation is aimed at finding import-substituting solutions against the background of the departure of foreign manufacturers of components from the Russian Federation.
