The authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan have announced the creation of a government commission that will address issues related to the implementation of the national project "Unmanned Aircraft Systems" (UAS) in the region. This is confirmed by the corresponding order of the Prime Minister of the Republic, Alexei Pesoshin, who heads the commission.
As indicated in the document, the commission will include top managers from Aerokron, Elektropribor, Sumus, the Kazan branch of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, the Tonkor Technology center, Eidos-Medicine, and Enix, subject to agreement. The aforementioned enterprises are involved in the production of aviation and unmanned products.
On Wednesday, October 4, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg adopted in the third reading a bill providing for priority support for the development of drones. The document supplements the law "On the fundamentals of scientific and technological policy of St. Petersburg."
A number of enterprises operate in the Northern capital that are engaged in UAS development. These include NPO AMB, which developed an internal combustion engine for drones.
