Volgograd Machine-Building Company "VGTS" LLC (a branch of "Kurganmashzavod") has shipped a batch of BMD-2 airborne infantry fighting vehicles and BTR-RD armored personnel carriers after repair. The heavy equipment was handed over to the Russian Airborne Forces, the "High-Precision Complexes" company said.
According to Fizuli Seyfedov, Executive Director of the Volgograd enterprise, the company is fully fulfilling the state defense order within the specified time frame. It is noted that during the repair, the main components and assemblies were replaced on the BMD and BTR. After that, specialists conducted running and fire tests of the equipment.
It is known that in August, the Volgograd branch of "Kurganmashzavod" handed over a record number of repaired combat vehicles to the Russian Airborne Forces. At the same time, the company does not name the volume of the shipped batch.
The founder of "VGTS" is "Kurganmashzavod". According to OKVED, the company's main activity is the production of combat military vehicles.
