Rosatom has announced the launch of a new support program for young physics teachers in Russia in the nuclear cities. It started at the beginning of the new 2023-2024 academic year in the schools of Kurchatov, Novovoronezh, and Balakovo, it is also extended to other cities, where there are nuclear power plants. Thus, the company hopes to overcome the staff shortage therein.

Rosenergoatom concern, the power division of Rosatom, allocates a monthly addition to the salary for young specialists for a year, compensation for rent, and one-time payments for household improvement and preparation for employment. It is more than 520 thousand rubles a year for each program participant.

Rosenergoatom provides conditions for attracting young teachers to increase children's interest in the school subject. This is one of the important steps towards preparing future nuclear engineers and power plant workers, ready to work in the nuclear sector and contribute to its development
