Retailer Ozon, together with VK, has developed an operating system (OS) for Russian "smart" TVs Hartens. The Ozon TV shell will include the "Marusya" voice assistant, the RuStore application store, and other VK services.
As noted in the company's press service, it is planned to release over 25,000 devices based on Ozon TV by the end of 2023. It is known that specialists from the Russian company "Kvant," which manufactures TVs, also participated in the development of the shell.
Hartens TVs have been produced since 2021 at the "Kvant" factory in Voronezh. The enterprise, which also has production facilities in Zelenograd, assembles approximately 3,500 TVs per shift. Depending on the diagonal, the price of a Hartens TV on marketplaces varies on average from 6,000 rubles to 55,000 rubles.
