The Russian Drone Racing Federation and the company Rostelecom have opened a center for drone piloting training at the Rudnevo industrial park in Moscow.
According to the head of the federation, Ilya Galaev, beginners are trained to control drones for more than 240 hours. It is believed that this time is sufficient for professional training of pilots. The federation expects that the training of UAV pilots will be streamlined.
It is known that drone racing has entered the list of disciplines of the 'Games of the Future', which will take place in Kazan (February 23 - March 3, 2024). The competitions will be held using modern technologies, including drones, robotics, AR/VR (augmented and virtual reality), AI (artificial intelligence).
