The Moscow Department of Transport announced the launch of testing fare payment in the metro and on the MCC using biometric data. 100 people are taking part in it.
It is noted that now passengers will not need to attach a Muscovite card to the turnstiles - payment will be made when the passenger's face is recognized. To use the function, you need to link your card to biometrics in the "Moscow Metro" application.
The department emphasized that this is a completely domestic development. It provides reliable protection of passenger data. It is known that thanks to the promotion with the "Mir" system, a trip using biometrics will cost 36 rubles.
