The Moscow Department of Transport has announced the launch of testing for metro and MCC fare payment using biometric data. 100 people are participating in it.
It is noted that passengers now do not need to apply their Moskvich card to the turnstiles - payment will be made when the passenger's face is recognized. To use the function, you need to link your card to the biometrics in the "Moscow Metro" application.
The department emphasized that it is a completely domestic development. It provides reliable protection of passenger data. It is known that thanks to the promotion with the "Mir" system, a trip on biometrics will cost 36 rubles.
